aiKit's free tier is what lets you draft, refine, and publish a project without paying anything. This guide is a plain explanation of how that actually works today, including the parts that are policy rather than something enforced by the product yet.
Building your draft, going through the guided interview, refining sections and features, revising in the "Make it yours" chat, and publishing your project to a real live link — all of it, with no credit card required at any point. Right now, every published project stays live on the free tier; there's no paywall or takedown happening after any particular number of days.
aiKit's model for the free tier is a 90-day free live preview window for a published project before continued hosting would move to a paid yearly plan. That paid-hosting step is still being built and isn't live yet, so this is currently a stated plan rather than something actively enforced against your project today.
Every revision you make while building runs on what the product itself labels "Fast Mode — included free, unlimited while you build." You won't run into an edit counter, a running total, or an interruption while you're refining your draft. A separate, currently-locked "Advanced Mode" is shown alongside it (tied to future paid plans, for edits described as needing extra judgment) — but it's just visible, not something you're pushed toward or blocked by.
Every free-tier published site includes a small badge at the bottom linking back to aiKit. It's part of how free hosting is funded — there isn't currently a paid, badge-free tier to switch to instead.
