The projects sidebar — switching projects without leaving the workspace
While you're inside /start actively building, a sidebar lets you jump to another project or start a new one without losing your place — this is the only place your projects live; see "Finding and switching between your projects" for searching a long list and Test runs.
Opening it
A small toggle button sits at the edge of the workspace at every screen width, labeled for screen readers as "Your projects — switch or start one." On wide screens the sidebar is permanently visible alongside your work; on narrower screens it opens as a drawer over the page, with a background scrim you can tap to close it.
What's in it
At the top, a "+ New project" link genuinely navigates to a fresh /start (not a client-side reset), so you always start clean rather than accidentally overwriting the project you're on.
A "Current" section shows the project you're actively working on — its first-letter initial (or an ∞ mark if it's still untitled), its name, and its status — tagged "Current" so it's clearly not a link, just where you are.
Below that, "Other projects" lists every other project on your account, each as a real link (opening /start with that project loaded) showing its initial, name, type icon, and a status line like "Draft · Edited 3h ago." Switching projects is a genuine navigation, not an in-place swap — intentional, since a project in progress carries a lot of its own state that only makes sense for one project at a time.
Before you've signed up
If you're still early in the flow and haven't created an account yet, the sidebar doesn't disappear — it shows a note instead: "Log in to see and jump between every project you've started," with a real link to log in. The sidebar toggle itself stays visible the whole time so the multi-project capability is always discoverable, even before you have anything to switch between.
